The comprehensive training of the student refers to all those aspects that, in addition to the techniques and sports fundamentals of golf, are not directly related to the teaching of golf, such as learning attitudes, values or rules of coexistence as respect to the others, accept the defeats, control of aggression, spirit of overcoming and sacrifice, cooperation and collaboration, etc.
It must be borne in mind that children of child-age are in the process of maturation and physical and psychological growth. The performance of the teachers / coaches will have a positive impact on the psychological growth of their students.
The student’s preparation for long-term performance refers to the teacher / trainer must be concerned about providing the student with the physical, technical, tactical and psychological bases so that when he has reached physical and psychological maturity can obtain good results. That is, the student can successfully face his future sports career. In order to carry out this work in a correct and coherent way, it is essential not to be in a hurry to obtain results, but to dedicate a large part of the training to this general preparation.
